And in addition to keeping your equipment safe, autogating significantly increases operator safety as well. By instantly adjusting to changing light conditions, autogating ensures that high risk room-to-room searches in urban environments can be conducted with complete confidence, with no risk of losing situational awareness in the event of a sudden flash or burst of bright light.
Manufactured in the USA and featuring a US-made Elbit Systems 64-72 lp/mm Gen3 image tube, the goggles feature intuitive user controls, fully automated image tube protection, an integrated infrared illuminator and an on-screen IR indicator to protect covert status. Standard features include an ergonomically designed headmount with custom brow pads to ensure hours of comfortable hands-free use, a set of ocular demist shields to prevent fogging and a sacrificial lens that protects the unit's precision lens from dust and scratches.
The functionality of your Gen3 Auto-Gated Night Vision Goggles can be easily extended by detaching the optics unit from the headmount for handheld use. Used in conjunction with an assortment of available high power lens sets, they can be quickly transformed into a high performance, long-range night vision binocular.
