Newcon Optik's LRM-1500M Laser Range Finder Monocular provides highly accurate distance measurements to targets that are up to 1,640 yards away.
Laser rangefinders work by flashing invisible, eye-safe laser pulses at targets, then recording the time that it takes the reflected light to return. Using a time-of-flight algorithm rangefinders like the LRM-1500M can easily calculate distances to an accuracy of +/- 1-yard in less than half a second.
The LRM-1500M’s rich assortment of on-screen features include selectable reticles (crosshair or square dot), selectable units of measure (yards or meters), a target quality indicator and a low battery warning. The unit also memorizes the last 10 range measurements for instant recall.
Equipped with a tripod mounting receptor, the LRM-1500M can be connected to a digital camera with an available mounting bridge. Encased in a shock-resistant, waterproof rubber coating, the range finder includes a soft carry bag, neck strap, 9V battery, lens cover, lens cleaning cloth, manual and a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty.
